Laura is a London based dance artist and creative dance facilitator, with a BA Hons in Contemporary Dance and Choreography. She is also a certified coach with qualification from the British School of Coaching.
Laura founded Rising Soul Dance – a unique style of guided dance – for people to explore their infinite potential in a creative, elevated and supportive space.
She has been intuitively dancing all her life alongside her dance training, which has been a great tool of healing and transformation. It is her mission to inspire as many people as she can to dance into their light. Rising Soul Dance is a space to gather for the love of music, connection & creativity. The classes, workshops and one to ones are designed for people to explore what it means to be human in this fast moving world. Laura weaves knowledge from her contemporary dance background with elements of Qi Gong to facilitate the souls journey through dance.
Laura has performed all over Europe and the UK as a performance artist, and in 2010, she co-founded The Meyer Dancers – a 1960’s and 1970’s Go-Go Dance Company. She has a vast CV of experience within TMD including appearances on ITV, the V & A Museum and in films directed by Woody Harrelson and John Ridley. She also runs popular 1960’s Go-Go Dance courses and workshops.
Laura describes herself as a die hard music lover, and adores the 1960’s and 1970s eras.
