Heather’s background is in dance, having trained at some of the world’s greatest centres of ballet. At the age of 16, she was recognised as an aspiring and highly talented ballet dancer by the English National Ballet School in London, winning a scholarship to attend their full-time training programme.
Over the years, Heather’s passion for dance has expanded and evolved into a love of embodied movement and flow. She successfully completed the 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited Vinyasa training at the renowned Radiantly Alive studios in Ubud, Bali in 2018, and is currently studying and training in Somatics and free movement.
Heather’s teaching style is derived from her dance background, combining creative sequences and intuitive flow, focussing on a fluid continuum of movement, guided by the felt sense.
