A strength and alignment workshop led by Seamus Casey and designed with men’s bodies in mind, with the intention of encouraging more men to incorporate yoga as part of their fitness and wellness routine. Throughout the workshop you will work on balance, posture, breathing, endurance and stamina to create a deeper awareness and understanding of the body’s potential. Suitable for all levels and beginners.
Seamus came to yoga practice in 1996. He openly admits that he could barely touch his knees when he started. His practice has been mainly with the Iyengar method which, through the use of props, allowed him to develop a solid understanding of yoga asana and created a curiosity for all aspects of the practice. Seamus maintains a regular Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyengar Yoga practice and his classes reflect Iyengar teachings though are not limited to one particular style.
