Africa Brooke

In this gathering, Africa will be speaking about the layers of delicious pleasure we can unearth when we move away from conventional sex, and lean into conscious sexuality. Existing in a society that upholds performative sexual expression means that a lot of women are engaging in disconnected male-focused sex that doesn’t prioritise their pleasure. Africa will be covering premature penetration, the language shifts that can allow us to feel more empowered within our bodies, and how a better understanding of both can lead to more fulfilling and authentic sexual encounters.

Africa Brooke is a writer, speaker, mindset mentor, and sobriety advocate on a mission to make shameless pleasure a priority. She is also the Founder of  The Cherry Revolution, a creative powerhouse built to aid to the liberation of all sexualities and identities, dispel gender norms, and to create safe and accessible spaces for people to dive deeper into their understanding of self.  Africa has written for The Independent, The Temper, The iPaper, Metro, Elephant Journal, Gal dem, and has appeared as a guest on ITV, BBC Asian Network Radio, and BBC Radio 1 ‘ Life Hacks’ podcast.
