Our weekend retreat based on Tantra yoga, a practice that supports tantric philosophy. It is a tool for growth, expansion, and liberation from social conditioning. During the weekend you will learn various techniques that will help you to change on a cellular level and to create a new positive outlook on life and your place in it. Imagine sitting by the fire, sharing a beautifully prepared vegan meal, smiling and learning about the tantric approach to life. No past, no future, just present moment in which you co-create.
What to expect?
Jack’s Mill offers a variety of rooms and suites, five of them feature an en suite bathroom and two of the rooms, attic 1 and attic 2 share a bathroom. All have smart flat-screen TVs and tea and coffee facilities, and views of the river and gardens.
Why this location?
Barely 13 miles from the centre of London, this rural retreat offers beautiful countryside, acres of space in which to explore and unwind, and comfortable, hospitable rooms.
A former water-mill between the River Colne and the Grand Union Canal, Jack’s Mill enjoys a tranquil setting in Harefield. Just 12 miles from Heathrow Airport, it provides elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi and parking.
Uxbridge, Colne Valley Park, and the Pinewood Studios at Iver Heath are all within a 15-20 minute drive. The towns of Ruislip, Northwood, and Rickmansworth are all within 10 minutes of Black Jack’s Mill. Free parking is available on site.
What room will you get?
Our Yoga retreats for women offer shared accommodation options which will be assigned on a first-booked first-served basis. Some rooms are bigger and with a view of the lakes (additional beds will be placed there) and some are smaller historical attic rooms with a shared bathroom. The accommodation will be assigned according to the number of people in the group.
Accommodation Options & Prices
All rooms in Jack’s Mill are gorgeous. We have 4 private rooms available and 4 rooms which will be shared by 2 ladies.
Enjoy vegan breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A complete menu will be confirmed once the host has everyone’s dietary requirements on file. Please expect simple but delicious vegan (plant-based) meals, snacks, and drinks.
Example Day to Day Programme
We will work with physical and energetic bodies through asana practice in a meditative way, breathing techniques, meditation, and most importantly deep relaxation (yoga Nidra) as it is a state in which a change occurs.
During the retreat, we’ll be playing with various activities that allow you to let go and create a space for the body and the mind. Expect to dance, to write, to practice yoga, to breathe, to meditate, to chant, as well as to have a space to simply be, which is the core of Tantra yoga teachings. It will be three days of beautiful exploration of femininity, surrender and letting go as well as becoming clear about who you are.
